Come rain or shine there’s some fantastic events taking place at vineyards this Spring. From a blending masterclass to brunches and artisan markets, there's something for everyone. There's an exciting range of indulgent celebrations for Mother’s Day and some not-to-be-missed events for those who want to combine beautiful gardens and woodlands with a vineyard visit. And with many seasonal tours already taking bookings from April onwards now’s the time to start filling your diary with fabulous vineyard fun.
Fizz Favourites - top of my wish list this month

Brunch & Bubbles, Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey – Saturdays in March
A four course brunch with tea and coffee can be paired with a sparkling wine flight and enjoyed in the wine library overlooking the vines.
Sundays at Camphill – Flint Vineyard, Suffolk – Sunday 16th March
Once a month you can enjoy street food, music and chilled vibes along with fabulous wines.
Blending Masterclass – Black Chalk Wine, Hampshire – Friday 21st March
This interactive winemaking challenge allows you to create your very own sparkling wine brand!
Makers Market, Artelium, Sussex – Saturday 22nd March
A fantastic showcase of local makers, producers and artisans. There will be food and drink and complementary wine tastings.
Food & Wine Fair, Dunesforde, Yorkshire – Saturday 5th April
Enjoy local artisan food stalls, live music, talks on wine and food pairing and tastings of award-winning wines.
Mother’s Day in the vines

Plan something wonderful to treat the mother figure in your life – or just spoil yourself! There are some wonderful events taking place all over the country – so many that I’ve put them in a special blog to make it easier to find the best ones for you. Check out details here.
Vineyard gardens and woodlands in bloom

If you enjoy flowers and fizz there’s some great vineyards to check out.
Bluebell Vineyard Estates, Sussex name is derived from the carpet of bluebells that can be enjoyed every Spring. There’s a number of walking trails and you can enjoy their Hindleap sparkling wines on the seated terrace open Thursday-Sunday.
Silverhand Estate, Kent has a couple of guided walks available. The bluebell walk takes place on 12th April and the orchid walk is on 10th May. Places need to be booked in advance.
Squerryes, Kent is taking part in the National Open Garden Scheme whilst raising funds for Cancer Research. On Friday 16th May there is a one-off opportunity to visit the Courtyard garden which was used as a location in the last series of Bridgerton.
Yotes Court Vineyard, Kent has a private garden designed and planted by Chelsea’s best-in-show winner Tom Stuart-Smith. Tours can be booked once a month from April – September and there’s an option to stay on and enjoy lunch at the vineyard.
Wyken Vineyard, Suffolk has formal gardens which are open seasonally from April. There’s also a weekly farmers market on Saturdays, a country store and plenty of food options.
